licence from General Electric, USA, manufactures Fr 1, 3, 5, 6B, 6FA and
9E Gas Turbines at Hyderabad works. BHEL has supplied more than 110 nos.
Gas Turbines in India and other countries like Malaysia, Oman and Saudi
Arabia and currently executing GTG contracts in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh,
etc. BHEL created a record by executing a 2xFr 6B GTG contract a
turnkey basis, within six months, in Malaysia.
